Welcome! I’m Michelle Roberts, the artist and stationery designer behind Fior Design Studio in Portland, OR.

I’m a graphic designer and watercolor artist with over 10 years of experience working with creative agencies throughout the Minneapolis, MN and Portland, OR metro area. And that’s why I decided to combine my skills, experience, and passion to become a full-time wedding stationery designer. I help you navigate your timeline while designing paper goods that feel intentional, personal, and beautifully cohesive.

After designing and printing all of the stationery for my own wedding in 2018, I realized this wasn’t just a one-time project — it was the start of something I truly love. Today, I work closely with couples who value art, detail, and ease, helping them carry a vision through every printed touchpoint of their wedding day so nothing feels rushed, forgotten, or out of place.

Wedding Stationery Designer Process

First, pick a theme for your wedding. Next, let the stress melt away by having Fior Design Studio’s stationery designer carry that style throughout all of your printed materials.

Love greenery? Abstract watercolor art? Bird watching? Fior Design Studio will take care of matching everything to your special theme—from your invitations and signage, to name cards, menus, and more. SO much to think about, right? Fior is here to ask all the right questions and help keep everything organized for you.

  1. Proposal

Reach out to me via the contact page to see if we are a good fit. Next, I will send you a custom proposal based on your wedding size & items requested.

2. Deposit

Next, you and your partner decide if you want to modify anything on your proposal before we begin. A 25% non-refundable deposit and a signed agreement are required to begin work.

3. Work

Next, we schedule our first meeting and you will receive a form to fill out where you can tell me all about your wedding style and upload photos of your venue, flowers, dresses, etc. This will help me determine the design direction for your wedding goods.

4. Choose!

Last, but not least, you will need to choose your favorite design from the multiple custom options I send to you. After any requested changes, I will move everything into production for handoff/delivery. I recommend mailing 10-12 weeks from your wedding date, with 3 weeks prior to your date being the final cutoff for your signage.
